How do I create a task?

Tap the "Add new task" button on the home screen. Fill in the title, set a date and time, choose a category, and tap "Add task".

What is the Buddy and how does it work?

Your Buddy is a virtual companion that reacts to your productivity. As you complete tasks throughout the day, your Buddy's mood changes from sad to happy. It's a fun way to stay motivated!

What are Big Events?

Big Events are major goals you can break down into smaller steps. Create a Big Event, add steps to complete, and track your progress. Completing a Big Event counts double toward your daily satisfaction level.

What is Ikytask Super?

Ikytask Super is our premium subscription that unlocks unlimited tasks, custom categories with icons and colors, and Big Events. Free users can have up to 5 active tasks with default categories.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Your subscription is managed by Apple. To cancel: Open the App Store → tap your profile → Subscriptions → Ikytask → Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?

Go to the subscription screen in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

How do I change my display name?

Go to your Profile and tap on your name. An input field will appear — type your new name and press "Done" on the keyboard to save.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Other → Delete Account. Please note: this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to cancel any active subscriptions before deleting your account.

What are Community Tasks?

Community Tasks are fun, curated task suggestions you can browse and add to your day. They're a great way to discover new activities and stay inspired.

How are streaks calculated?

Your streak counts consecutive days where you've completed at least one task. Keep completing tasks every day to maintain your streak!
